However, one thing that I would like to add to this recipe is documentation.
Conversion rate optimization is a science project. You’re dealing with data, hypotheses, results, measurement techniques and sources of error. Sounds like chemistry class right?
Proper documentation is extremely helpful for interpreting results, understanding sources of error and providing historical record keeping for future testing. If you’re running conversion rate experiments today, you may have to hand the baton off to someone else when you move on.
